Hey guys, I have some nooby questions i'd rather not ask in server...since they're..well nooby. one of the servers i've played in will kick you for 'bunny hopping'...what exactly is that? What is the gametype "domination" like? and.. Are there any weapons that are considered nooby because they're too easy to get kills (like the noob tube in mohaa?)
haha thanks for sparing me :-p btw...when do you guys usually play? i haven't seen anyone on the 33rd server yet (when i've been playing at least)

Bunny Hopping... is continuously jumping.. to avoid getting shot. Its considered bad form to be a lil' bunny foo' foo'
Domination, Not sure exactly on domination but I think thats the one where there are flags to hold.... the more flags you hold the more points your team gets.. or maybe the faster there score goes down.. play it and find out.
Noober Weapons, Guess the nade launcher.. but who cares what people say.. kill kill kill..anyway you can..kill.. kill..kill..
I mostly play in the evenings.. later then most. Look for me/ us on X-fire.

haha thanks DD I forgot the others i was wondering about...or i figured them out myself, but i'll post future ones here.
What weapons do you guys favor? I'm diggin the M4 now...i got the red dot sight...so it's pretty sweet. I used the dragonov a few times in the singleplayer and really liked it, but haven't used it much in multiplayer yet (just unlocked it)...otherwise i found the first sniper better and the second almost useless (i aim for the torso...which might be why)

Most of this stuff seems to have carried over from BF2...
Bunny hoppers are among the most hated form of player I've seen. They actually rank up there with cheating in terms of loathe for them (if you can believe that).
Grenade launchers are effective but yes hated. Because of reload time, I've found them to be the most beneficial when kicking off an ambush and switching to bullets after. But like DD said, kill kill kill 'em all... by whatever means necessary.
I believe the weapon systems are almost identical in BF2 and COD4 and my guess is that the pros and cons are as well. If I can be of any help, just let me know.

One thing i noticed is you can 'snipe' almost as well with, say an m16 as with a designated 'sniper rifle', since the assault rifles are so accurate. I have the acog for the m4, but i think it would be more useful with the m16.

the m16 3 round bursts...works good for sniping but i don't like the short bursts...i use the m4 with acog scope, dead silence, banileer, and uv jammer for TDM and my sniper is the M21 UV Jammer, Iron Lungs, and claymores

Is there a way to use a silencer and red dot sight at the same time? Val

that's a shame... i guess the dot sight is well worth being loud :-p Does the complete silence perk silence your gun too? or just your steps? Val

just steps, when you jump it makes noise and when you fall

I like using dead silence in conjunction UAV jammer with silencer. It the ultimate stealth set up. Dead silence keeps my movement quiet.. they cant see me on UAV..and the silencer doubles by keeping me quiet and with the silencer it keeps me off the UAV scanner even when I'm shooting.

If I had to pick and choose, I would go with UAV jammer. Especially as a sniper, it definitely gives you the element of suprise. It turns you into a litteral "guardian angel".

I have a noob question to tack on to this board. I downloaded the demo again and I'm running into the same problem again. My FPS are running very low even on what I think are low settings.
Are there any ways to optimise performance for the game? I am not as concerned with graphics or detail as I am with game speed.
