Here is a link to a demo recording tool for Medal Of Honor Allied Assault:www.jimbarr.org/Gaming/Demos/MOHAA.zipRight click and save as to your MOHAA/Main Folder. This is most likely found under C:/ProgramFiles/EA Games/MOHAA/You will then need to rename your main MOHAA file in your MOHAA main directory. The file is called MOHAA.EXE. Just rename it to MOHAB.exe or something. Then you can unzip the file you downloaded from here and make sure it is in the MOHAA main folder as MOHAA.EXE You also need to create a DEMO subfolder in your MOHAA Main Folder to store these. Next time you play, you can record play and review it later! Or share it on this website for others to see your perspective when you play! Commands are as follows: To Record: record demoname To Stop Recording: stoprecord To Play a Demo: playdemo demoname (demoname is what you name the demo file) All demos will be recorded to the demo folder that you created. Have Fun!

I'm just having problems with the demo version. Everytime I start it, I get a windows errror message saying it cannot open because of a problem. I never had this situation with my old computer. Any ideas?

the file is definitely mohaa.exe right and located in the main directory? And you made a demo folder in the main directory?

Yea, I can't even get it to start. It automatically crashes when the console comes up before the game starts. It's located in my main folder.

This sounds cool. i might have to try it out, but i was wondering...the demo files are a specific filetype right? will they play in, say, quicktime or windows media player?

the demo files are played back right in the game, from console. all you need to do to watch them after you record them is type in "playdemo (filename)" (see first post^^^^) if you want to convert them to an avi file to watch them in windows media player I believe you need a program like Fraps: www.fraps.com/

ok, got it all worked out....tested a demo in pro chico...soon to be deleted...no one wants to see me get SMGd a couple times :-p
this is awesome... lets catch some hackers!
the best way to catch them would be to go to spectator mode and demo them hacking (if they are actually hacking of course) right?

Yes, that is the main way we catch hackers. We record the proof to keep as a permanent record.

Mu hahahah, well that's in theory, I hope it helps lol....but I love making demos weeee!!! :-)

The easiest hackers too find are those shooting and hitting trough windows, or the ones headshotting or upper torsoing all the time, 1 shot kills but some others are REALLY smart and hard to find... u gotta get used to detecting 'm it's like a sport:)
